Goals

The Foundation maintains that there is great potential for exchange and scientific development between Piedmont, historically characterized by a traditional economic and industrial system, and the state of Israel , by now a consolidated center of excellence for scientific research and technology.

In this field the Foundation:

• Develops contacts with public and private Israeli institutions;
• Patronizes a program of exchange with the Weizman Institute of Science of Rehovot;
• Awards an annual grant for projects between Piedmontese and Israeli researchers.

The Foundation also supports projects within the Piedmontese Universities that are of particular socio-scientific relevance .
