IRMET - Institute of Radiology Turin

IRMET Spa is a center of excellence for image based diagnosis using PET-CT (Positron Emission Tomography - Computerized Tomography) e SPECT technology.

IRMET based its organization, on the World Health organization, The European Comunity and other reprasentative institutions, regarding the corect methods of communicating with patients, maintaining the basic principle that health is a basic right protected by the constitution and universaly protected

IRMET was founded in June of 2003 as an initiative of the Fondazione De Benedetti - Cherasco 1547 (ONLUS) from an idea of Benedetto De Benedetti, Maurizio Mancini and Elisabetta Salza.

The center in Turin which supplies dignostic services and neuclear Medicine as an ambulatory service using three tomography CT-PET and one gamma camera SPECT.

IRMET was certified in July 2005 by DNV Det Norske Veritas for the supply of services for Neuclear Medicine for diagnoses PET CT for UNI EN 9001:2000 (Quality Systems Sistemi di gestione per la qualità), UNI EN 14001:2004 (Sistema di gestione ambientale) e UNI EN 18001:1999 (Sistema di Gestione della Salute e Sicurezza sul Lavoro), e mantiene annualmente aggiornato il proprio sistema qualità.
