Goals

The Foundation De Benedetti Cherasco 1547 in memory of the nearly 500 year presence of Jews in Cherasco including the De Benedetti family, supports the restoration, conservation, and promotion, of the Jewish historic and artistic  patrimony present in the City of Cherasco. It also promotes editorial projects that explore the subject of Jewish history in Cherasco,The "Cherasco Origins Committee", actively works towards these objectives by proposing, developing and executing new projects. The committee is comprised of both foundation councilors and external members who are invited to participate based on their specific expertise.
